In 1938, Millie Novak opened her first breakfast diner in Glen Ellyn, Illinois.

Her friendly style of home cooking quickly caught on to become a town favorite.

Millie's family migrated from Illinois to Wisconsin, then Arizona, and wherever she went,

Millie opened new cafes. In 1988, as a Sarasota newcomer, she opened Millie's on Clark Road.

Her style of charming decor and a delicious menu has made Millie's a praiseworthy

destination to frequent and mingle with family and friends, for 35 years.
